Gotta root for Youmzain... hope he can win this ( instead of another 2nd!). :)

I don't know how anyone else feels but I'm really happy Soumillon has the mount.

"Youmzain is a legend in his own lunchtime. He is what he is, and he's in great heart - he ran a blinder last time out. He seems to get himself in trouble and yet he is the most uncomplicated horse I have ever come across to train. He has bumped into some champions so what can you do? He is the form horse in the race and has got to come up with it now and produce."

~ Channon on Youmzain.

Good luck!

I hate to say it, but he's becoming a bit of a rogue now. Couldn't believe people were falling over themselves to back him at odds on, to me that was silly.

There will be arguments that Soumillon gave him too much to do, but it seems all of the jockeys are doing that on this horse. So maybe now we have to look at the horse rather than the jocks.

Hughesy seemed to get on with him the best, and the way he's riding this year, he should be given another chance on him and maybe the horse will respond.

Love him but I don't know why anyone would play him to win. 2nd and 3rd spot only.

The lead of the piece on Sporting Life...

Connections of Youmzain were left scratching their heads...

How many times have we seen that one now? :D

Gotta love him. Sometimes the best ones are 2nd and 3rd...:tro:

You're not the only female I've spoken to who think the best boys come second.

I have to admit backing him yesterday at 6-4, but had a saver on Spanish Moon. He is going to be a lovely horse this year (not in the UK though!)
