NYRA bumper music

I'm guessing BTW is picking it out. I'm enjoying it but the snippets are too short. Last week I thought I heard an obscure John Lennon tune, and it's still driving me nuts because I couldn't figure it out. Maybe "John Sinclair?"

I have nothing to do with picking out the music ( though I love " Lighter Shade of Pale " ). If I did we would play " All You Do is Talk " from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club to lead off Talking Horses.

I would've lost a serious bet.

I got them to play Dear Mr. Fantasy when the horse ran.

You should play "Girls Talk" to open the show when Rachel runs next Saturday.....

"There are some things you can't cover up with lipstick and powder....thought I heard you mention my name, can't you talk any louder... "

If you are taking requests, how about "Here comes the Sun". Maybe it will help. I'm tired of all this damn rain. The grass in my backyard is so high, that it looks like the Serengetti back there. I thought a lion was going to jump out when I lit the barbacue the other night.

blackthroatedwind 06-18-2009 10:15 PM

Do I sound like we're taking requests?

blackthroatedwind 06-18-2009 10:22 PM

We're going to start doing that right after we start taking requests.

The guest handicappers will follow shortly thereafter.

Oh, well.

Skipthelightfandango would be a good name for a white horse, though I guess you'd have to spell it Skpthelghtfandango

yes and it's twilight racing , so you have time to get in the shopping and lunch before post time , better make the dinner reservation for 9 PM if you plan on staying for the full card

I was at Belmont this past Wednesday....and despite the published attendance figure of more than 3000... I'd of been hard pressed to count more than 1000 people there... scary how few people were there...
