No Mutuel Wagering? Why bother running the race?

They've got TWO horses in the 8th race. Best to continue to ignore this circuit.

At least they didn't cancel the race like they have done in the past.

In all fairness the racing at Delaware has been MUCH better at this meet than in the past. Unfortunately, the weather has been bad lately and that takes a toll on the racing, especially on turf.

i think they had a big tote problem so they made it no wagering. honestly i'd rather have them do that before the race then do like penn national and wait til 3 hours after the race.

But then what will all of the Nicanor fans do for fun?
Speaking of which, I saw that he is running in an allowance this week, and that Lentenor had the fastest of six workouts going 3f at Fairhill today. Time to crank up the hype machine.

Nicanor won the 8th today at Delaware, but I haven't seen the video.

If Rosie Napravnik had jumped off and raced Nicanor for the final three furlongs it would have been a tight finish. The Deli lawn is tricky but he absolutely crawled home.

I'm absolutely salivating for him to step up in class on the green stuff.

He won rather easily. Led them all the way around to win by 2 and was never really threatened but it was a slow finish.
