monmouth might be a cool little betting race. Nice to see some names show up.

You have to love horses like Precious Passion. Set a huge lead through fast fractions in the Monmouth, looked like he was going to get inhaled on the far turn, then fought back and held on for the win over Banrock. Precious Passion must drive the jockeys on the other horses crazy.

this was a great race.....talent standpoint, betting standpoint and the actual race delivered. presious passion is was tough as nails today....

i had 2 tickets on the race

1$ exacta box 1,2,5,7
1$ tri 1,2,5/1,2,5,7/1,2,5,7

cashed the exacta...paid for the tri and a few bucks more....the damn tri had me ready to throw the tv out the window.....lots of nice cards and races today. its good for racing to followup the triple crown run with a good product. might keep some folks that we picked up through the spring.

You don't have to worry about troubled trips with horses like that. :)

Running off early to a big lead in a turf marathon is one thing, but doing it while going nine furlongs against good horses is something else.
