RJ Goes for 300 Tonite

Randy Johnson looks for his 300th career win tonite in DC against the Nationals. Considering he maybe the last 300 game winner for a long while, I find it somewhat surprising there has not been more press coverage/hype. Nationals Park will likely be 3/4s full at best this evening. After RJ, Jaime Moyer is next on the list. He would likely need to pitch for another 3 to 4 years to reach 300. I guess that's not out of the question for Moyer, but I think unlikely.

Maybe 300 wins is just not that big a deal any longer.

Last time the media tried to cover him, he took a swipe at the cameraman. But you are right it's almost like a non-story. Maybe it has to do where he is playing. I know they are playing .500 ball right now, but this will probably be the highlight of the whole season for them.

300 wins is awesome, but I'll always remember him for obliterating that bird with a fastball.
