To me this is the race of the day after looking at the possibilities, obviously El Brujo is a must include in the exotics but is hardly a sure thing to win it all, super betting race.

like the two Frostad horses here....

Eye of the Leopard @ 8/1 is a rubberband play

An obvious trip horse in here should be included, hopefully this race will see some not so obvious horses get into the tri, exa...could be a race well worth playing.

Woodbine

Heading to Woodbine as we speak, sunny and cool. Word around here is Eastern Promise has really taken to the track, working well, and adding Lasix is going to help...i'm gonna use him as my key. Good luck all.

I like this one a little bit, too. Obviously it's never preferable to take a horse who just broke his maiden stepping up to a stakes race, but there aren't exactly any world-beaters and he looks to have a lot of potential. I also like that he has some speed as very few in here do.

I'll have to watch the replay again but I thought the Jockey on Southdale moved a tad early, instead of cashing in on the tri I had to settle for a smallish consolation exacta. I was really surprised that Rapid Release went off at 30-1, Attfield's got another one peaking for the Plate at the right time. Though I thought Southdale ran the better race, hard to ignore The trainer that has won it the most. He might be dangerous in a few weeks and depending on the odds a viable bet and a definite include in exotics.

Attfield was on Down the Stretch - said he didn't think the horse was ready and that he wished he could have gotten a race in him and/or a few more works.
