Think I'll play against Rutherienne here, depending on ground conditions Tell It As It Is/Callwood Dancer

I don't like Rutherienne, I think there's value to be found elsewhere in this race.

I agree she looks most likely but not at the price... Callwood and Tellitasitis are worth a second look if those prices hold... For a flyer... I like josie's Scenery Change to pick up a piece...

I owe a huge debt to Callwood Dancer, she's one of my all time positive ROI horses having bet her 3 times last year all double digits finishing 1-2-0. I'm going to have to go against her today in the win spot, though I agree she will most likely run better now that she is back on her hometrack. Not sure she will be bettable as the most likely 2nd choice, I will entertain her at her ML, however one thing I notice about the Woodbine oddsmaker she is rarely in the right neighbourhood when establishing the line.

I was looking at the PP's and was struck how it'd gotten to the point where just about any ride by JV on the turf is a bad one. Tell It As It Is, for example. Chart says, "5w, best stride late'. Trakus indicates the following ---

33
1
24
44
-3

So, Tell It As It Is ran 44 feet or 5 lengths more than the winner.

Now, I haven't watched the race but I can almost guarantee that having this horse wide on the turns wasn't all that JV did. He almost certainly had her wide no cover on the backstretch as well, which is just a ****in brutal thing to do to a horse. Of course, JV justifies this by telling the trainers that the horse doesn't like to be inside. Not picking this horse, just indicating how bad it gets when JV rides your horse.

Tell It Like it is, is atleast interesting. I am leaning towards the flyer Favorite Fantasy across the board.

I'll drop Tell It ... from my wager, Callwood Dancer to win

Points of Grace.

Rutherienne proved me wrong, ran a nice race. At 3.60 to win I can live certainly live with her beating me.
