He's VERY cute, Buffy... I'll have to take some pics of my guys out at the barn. I'm working at the barn every other Saturday and Sunday to pay for my lessons. :D

One of the mom's at the barn snapped this pic when I was giving him a bath last night. She just sent it to me. I don't know if you can see but he is drinking out of the hose (one of his fave things to do). He really has a quirky personality. I guess that is why we get along. I help out at the barn as much as I can. I help take care of horses after lessons (why people don't want to brush off and take care of the horse after a lesson is BEYOND my comprehension but whatever!) and I help out at horseshows. It is fun for me.

We are going to go to Altoona in January for a three event thing. Is that near you Cajun?

Not far at all Buffy... in fact, we may be at that horse show. The barn I ride at and work at is headed up by an olympic rider and trainer. Her background is mostly in eventing so she goes to most of the local shows. This is her website if you want to check the barn out... (some of the website is outdated.)

Well, I can't remember the name of the farm the show is held at. We have only been there once. It was the first time for three out of the four girls that went. (I am not showing mind you. I just go for moral support and to help out. I in no way shape or form want to do cross country eventing. Call me Chicken, I don't care!) Although last time Buck did go, but his mommy and daddy took him(Buck) and his girlfriend (Delilah) on trails in the Ocala National Forest.

Are you going to show there?

We will have to keep in touch about it. We could meet up there. I will check out the website tonight. I am on my way out the door!

The show is held at a farm called Rocking Horse Stables. I've shown there once or twice... it was a pretty nice facility. I will look forward to seeing you there and we'll definitely talk before then. :D

BTW, Altoona is less than 40 miles from my house.

Cajun, Yes! That is the name of the farm! When it gets closer, we will have to meet up. Not sure what trailer is going from our barn. Whether it will be the farm trailer or the neighbor's trailer. I will let you know so we can find each other there! I will be the groom running around holding horses for everyone.

Thanks MSC. I just adore him. Never thought he was very handsome until the girl that use to ride him before me started riding him and I saw him up close. He does have a long mane and whiskers, but his owner likes him to be a "horse" so to speak. I like the mane long though. :)

Lol, poor Buffy's looks have been discussed several times on the ESPN board. Shes the only person I know called fat on an internet message board by someone who had never seen her and lived a thousand miles away...pure comedy

Lets talk about how cute my boy is. Saw him last night. He actually hadn't rolled in the dirt yet after his bath on Monday. I think he likes looking handsome!
