Now I know why the Derby Exacta felt a little light

Even in a massive pool, this moves the needle quite a bit.

It moved it, what, 4 or 5%?

So, you figured $2K was light but $2100 was about right?

It still doesn't beat the $1.3 million Rocco won in 2001.

Why did I know those two posts would be deleted?

And mine was so damn clever. What a waste.

I felt compelled to put something more clever than "Man wins $1 million on Derby Exacta" in the title.

But yeah, I'd say $2,100 sounds about right.

Post #3 is on the way out as well.

Maybe it's because $6k is a lot of money to me, but whomever it was had some serious balls to put that kind of cash on POTN and MTB.

It's all relative Phil. Maybe the $6K to him was like $10 to us.

Loaded... He had to be drunk off his ass to bet 1000 on an exacta that included MTB... Probably was trying to punch out a 10 buck box and being so hammered he hit a couple more zeros and mistook the 8 for the 6 and the rest is history...
