no-works firster in the 11th yesterday at MTH (Myprincessallyson) was bet down to 5-1 before drifting back up. Ran an indifferent 5th.

And they paid $10,500 for him, so she atleast made some of her purchase price back already!

The Indomitable DrugS 05-11-2009 12:46 PM

$18,200 for winners share of 1st place. They're ahead.

We were discussing Bwana Charlie as a potential bigtime win-early freshman sire. He's now 2 for 2, with Malawi and Bwana Express.

Any way to set up a watch for others?

I would also guess that braulio lopez is about 1 for 1000

I guess the best way would be to create a virtual stable of his runners? There's probably a better way using Equineline but I don't know that system too well.

Because I am slightly....ok alot obsessed with Pleasantly Perfect, I go to Pedigreequery.com and type in his name then click on the "reports" option and then you can click on the "progeny" option and up pops this babies, with its pedigree. Its a really good way to keep track of a stallions babies. Here is what is up for him so far:

You missed the obvious cross-firing.

It doesn't bother me if they cross-fire for the first few strides as long as they straighten it out after a few strides like this filly did. If they cross-fire for the entire workout, then you know there is probably a serious problem. I wouldn't buy a horse for any price that cross-fired the whole workout. I have no idea what some of these buyers are looking at. The Green Monkey cross-fired the whole time. I wouldn't have paid $50,000 for that horse let alone $16 million.

Cross fired? Please help the ignorant. Changing leads back and forth? No idea..........

It means they are on one lead up front and on the opposite lead behind. This filly was on her right lead up front but on her left lead behind for the first few strides of the video. But after a few strides, she switched leads behind and got on her right lead behind. A horse should always be on the same lead behind as they are on in front.
