The infamous Scorewithcater!
|
Didn't Scorewithcater run on like Oaks day?

I think he won the Sunland race, the Borderland Derby or whatever. Beat Mine That Bird by a neck |
He should be a lock then. Tell me, has he ever run in 45 and 1:10 and change?
|
He was 3rd in the Sunland Derby last time out ... was actually two lengths in front of Mine That Bird through the wild 22.07 first quarter.
|
lock city drugs -you taking action?
|
I hope they take back eleventy billion lengths and stay on the rail.
|
I like Imperial Council in that spot.

Talk about a crop that went from exciting to the other degree in just a matter of weeks.

Stately Character will like Belmont's wide sweeping turns.

For a horse that hasn't been dominating by any means, this will still be Hello Broadway's 4th straight graded stakes race as the favorite (and 5th consecutive race as favorite). Nightstorm is a nice dam, I wonder if it's the half brother to Nobiz thing that has the public so hard up for him? The half brother/ full brother/sister angles have to be one of the best things going for creating underlays lately. Broadway may have a decent shot here though depending on the others.
Interesting to see the blinks come on. Have to assume they were on in the morning? Broadway showed some promise in the Nashua that he was actually developing some form, and STYLE, and I had hoped to see a similar sustained late run in the Hutcheson. However, form be damned, he was switched to Prado and asked for pace instead, and actually didn't do that bad. The Tampa either has to do with disliking the track or a lack of talent or a combination of the two. Then again in Keeneland he had an opportunity to develop some form but with his speed advantage over that group and a good jockey on board, they opted for the win. Blinkers today and faster works would indicate that he will definitely be up on the pace here in this 1turn 1 1/8th. It's an interesting field Charitable Man could be anything you have horses like Stately Character and Brave Victory who may return to form now that they are being asked for a reasonable task. Imperial Council could still be an underlay for one or two more races. It is worth putting some time in and handicapping. |
You are absolutely correct mr fischer... very intriguing race.... I think Imp council and hello broadway will be significantly bet down.... imp council was runner up to the "proposed" ky derby favorite a couple times.... Hello Broadway is loved by the public... Charitable Man is my play... but you're right... could be anything... and I DO feel Stately Character is sitting on a big one and should get a good trip.... am not leaving out of any plays...
good luck to all |
So is Imperial Council going to do his pace-pressing thing again or take back and do his one-run thing?
|
Charitable Man, if 3-1, would be a nice overlay,IMO

no dumb money
no price , i thought NY would bet on Broadway and maybe get suckered for Imperial Council again.
Poos like this are what makes horseracing tough. I think the 4,and 5 add value to the 2 and 3 here. I'd much rather bet the 3 and have the 2 be the underlay ,but Hello Broadway isnt out of it by any means Hello Broadway is a lot better choice than Imperial Council if you don't like the favorite. Mclaughlin is hit or miss but charitable Man is the pick and at 3-2 this race is a pass. |

I love it. Almost as embarrassing as the act (this should be) Gomez and Tagg put together. |
