How wet?

Well all you have been lucky to make the trip, how wet will it be today? What do you think the track will be like? On the turf?

Please work through your hangover and respond.

Just got a text from a buddy who was on the backstretch at 5:30. Says it rained all night and the main track is a mess now, while the turf is going to be soft.

TheSpyder 05-01-2009 07:15 AM

Thanks

Aw crap, it's coming right for me. This better not end up like the 2003 Derby where almost all the network coverage got preempted by the local network news so they could play with the Doppler thingy. The people who would actually be in the midst of the storm didn't have power anyway so how could they possibly be hanging on their every word? The rest of us were relatively in the clear and I had to get a play by play via cellphone by someone in PA. Ruined my Derby party.

The real heavy stuff remains south
and moving due East.
Cross fingers.

Just got a really mean downpour here in Russellville. I hope it stays its course and heads due east.
