has anyone seen the video on msnbc from churchill this week? i believe it is when the loose horse hit the filly the other day. i am not really sure how to put it on here b/c it is a video on msnbc.com. this might work.

ya it is rough. i was kinda surprised that after it happened it took a bit for people to go help out. is there some sort of protocol when that happens?

Yeah, people were standing around for a while, I thought that was weird, though I'm not sure how much could be done.

Somebody want to tell us again how horses are smart? Is this a vision problem? I know they are prey animals, but come on. If it isn't some sort of vision problem, then that's just stupid. I've had 1 really stupid dog before. Even he didn't do anything that stupid.

It reminds me of the time my wife watched the horror of a loose Amish horse run full speed into a tractor trailer. She came home crying. It was pretty nasty. I guess they get spooked and just freak out from there. It's a shame that this happened.
