Mudders

Who are they??

We all know about

Friesan Fire but who else is bred for the slop or who has run in it good? Don't be throwing out somebody ran in it and finished 8th LOL

Do you have a race in particular you are asking about? Or just in general?

The Indomitable DrugS 04-30-2009 01:12 PM

Kelly Kip liked the mud.

declansharbor 04-30-2009 01:14 PM

In the far right corner of the pp's, there is a column that says OFF. :o

Use wisely.

skippy3481 04-30-2009 01:38 PM

Chocolate Candy sire Candy Ride(ARG)(Ride The Rails) hitting with 8 wet winners out of 15 wet starts-a nifty 53% win rate, though a small sample size.

The Damsire, Seattle Slew has had 754 wet runners win a solid 18%

The Tomlinson figure is only 314, but with an *, having something to do with that small Candy Ride sampling size I mentioned before

Says assistant trainer Galen May, "He just loves the mud. I hope it does rain."

Derby time... You do know that they are 23 other races at churchill downs the next two days right?

Bobby Fischer 04-30-2009 05:33 PM

i'm gonna get 9-2 on Friesan Fire because knuckleheads who would normally bet IWR think FF is a mudder FML.

My bad I was talking about Race 2 on Saturday. U know that big $52,000 Allowance Race that is going 7f on the Dirt

Which race u think I am talking about???

geeker2 04-30-2009 05:46 PM

I think Spyder is the only one who got it right:tro:

skippy3481 04-30-2009 06:16 PM

Your title was Mudders who are they?
Who cares who the mudders are. You dont even know the conditions yet. There are diffrent types of sloppy tracks...
Some horses have never run on it, so your guessing at best. I was trying to help you out and you come back with a smart ass remark.

slotdirt 04-30-2009 06:53 PM

I think Spyder's pictures are actually of "pudding-ers" if we're being accurate.

Oaklawnfan 04-30-2009 09:33 PM

^^^^^
The 8 horse in the 2nd race is a good mudder. He's also the longshot on the morning line.
