Whatever happened to The Bart?

Pulled out my copy of "Horse Racing's Top 100 Moments" and was thumbing through it yesterday. #30 was the inaugural Arlington Million and the exciting finish between John Henry and The Bart.

We all know the story and how famous John Henry was, but what happened to The Bart after that race?

I believe he raced fairly well through the summer of the following year.

I know for certain that he was the sire of Kingdom Found ... a pretty nice Southern Cal horse who just missed winning a Grade 1 race in a stretch duel with The Wicked North. He bombed at 9/5 odds in the Suburban next out.

Thanks for the info. I could've looked up his PP's, but was too busy this morning.

G1 winner the next year, earned his stud career. Too much of a stayer to succeed to any degree, however.
