Informed Decision seems to like the surface.

I don't think she is gonna like Ventura.

I'm still not sure what to think of Consequence. I bought into all the hype before the BC and I was rewarded with a truly pathetic run. I'm likely to dive in once more and will probably pay for it. Her connections have got to think pretty highly of her to throw her in here though.

I wonder if Gomez will position Ventura more forwardly...

cakes44 04-09-2009 04:15 PM

You don't see a horse finish like that under Gomez very often.

What a weird run race.

Although I needed that result for my tvg entry, I really felt like that track is a joke after watching that race.

At no point did the winner look like she was going to win, or even run well, until just the very end.

Last move, easiest trip.

Gomez did that with an earlier horse today as well, where he "won the race" about a 1/16 too early and someone else came up. I don't know if Gomez could of have won here, and maybe I was focusing on her more on the live action view, but she appeared to have a shot when she first moved.

I threw two dollars on a Bear Now/ Authenticat double with the winner of the 7th (4).

I don't know if it was that or the track just being weird. Her losing this race was nothing like that one turf race at HP she lost last year. That was epic.

She does however, seem to need things to go her way up front.

I'm not sure if the winner is an excellent synthetic horse .. or just an excllent Kee synthetic horse.

There almost seems like a pretty big difference between the two with a lot of nice horses.

Informed Decision gives Monarchos his first Grade I winner ever.

In all seriousness, Informed Decision has proven to be a nice horse, however, the Madison is the best race run at Keeneland all year long for which she is eligible.

I think ID is a total monster at Kee and pretty close to being a dog biscuit on dirt.

Right, hence, today was her time to shine.
