The funniest thing about looking at Keeneland is that the maiden and non-turf allowance races are all completely dominated by turf horses.

Except for Brother Keith......who Frankel keeps racing on synthetics. I wonder whose call that is. Really strange. He's a smart guy and the horse ran OK in its debut on the dirt.

It would be nice if they wrote a maiden race on the turf, but I guess some would claim they actually do.

I have never seen a maiden race on the turf at Keeneland.

3/5 for $30k at HAW or 5-1 for $50k at KEE is quite a conundrum if they actually did write MDN turf races.

I didn't know if that had started after the artificial was installed or if it was that way in the dirt days too....interesting
