This may just be an attempt to thwart the law suit from that internet guy . One of the points of the law suit was that no racing has been held at Hialeah which is in violation of the lease with the city .

The 'internet guy' is so full of crap that his eyes are brown.

You are getting quite aggressive lately calling people out!! :)

Riot 03-18-2009 07:53 PM

The article says QH racing, so they can make money having poker tables.

But it's a start!

Coach Pants 03-18-2009 09:17 PM

I hope Chris Kotulak gets the race caller gig.

The Devil 03-19-2009 05:49 AM

Steve, I thought you liked the guy?

Bigsmc 04-14-2009 04:47 PM

Brunetti: Plans to Reopen Hialeah Progressing
By Tom LaMarra

http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...ah-progressing

Hialeah Park will be back in business “as soon as possible” with plans to eventually add Thoroughbred racing, officials of the Florida racetrack said June 8.

For the first time in years, the shuttered track issued a press release on Hialeah letterhead featuring a flamingo and racehorses. The release said Hialeah officials visited Remington Park in Oklahoma during the final week of its Quarter Horse meet to assess that operation.

How comparable is he to Jess Jackson in your estimation?

Do you think 'internet guy' ended up lighting a fire under the butts of other people because they'd rather try to keep him from getting his hands on whatever, be it Hialeah or Magna, since they loathe him that much? Normally when someone tries to throw a lot of money at buying a business, it gets more interest than he inspired from Magna at least. From what I can tell, he's rubbed some folks the wrong way pretty spectacularly and is quite the forceful personality.

He's quite a forceful media hound. Whenever the "real running" began, shelling out money, he ran away, whether it be Hialeah, Magna or anything else he threw his name out to "save". At least Jackson, as FOS as he is puts his money on the line.
Memo to Halsey: Keith Partridge called, he wants his hair back.

As long as Brunetti is involved with Hialeah it will fail miserably.
