Your star pitcher is having discomfort.

This is familiar ground with him. I believe last year was the first one in his career that he didnt hit the disabled list. He'll bounce back and remain one of the better (possibly the best) changeup pitchers in the game.

It's obviously a precautionary measure.

One could say it's due to the extra innings that he pitched this year. We can only wait and see. I'm wondering how we'd do without him for a small portion of the year. Chan HO becomes our 4 and JA Happ would be our 5th? I would keep Happ in the 'pen for now to offset Romero's suspension.

Chan Ho pitching is not a good thing.

Chan Ho can still pitch 2 or 3 innings in the middle of a game, but he has never handled pressure that well. I don't see him as a regular starting pitcher. If you're behind in the middle of a game, and trying to stay close, then, for some reason, he does well. He's an odd one. He still has decent stuff(too bad he has head trouble.)

Your star player tweaked a hammy. Just a stunt to loaf in spring training?

Game action is a lil different than just working out.

Not like he EVER runs full speed anyway, right?

I'll just say I wouldn't be crushed if we instantly switched to allowing the D.H. in the N.L. I'd send Pierre away somewhere(still pay his salary if necessary,) and pick up Velez(from Frisco) to be our left fielder(and be available as an emergency 2nd baseman.) Pierre is a hard worker, but so are a lot of maids. He's like a low skilled hard-working maid with a chip on his shoulder. Dump him, or it's gunna be a chemistry deficit. Billingsley and Broxton are already chemistry deficits. Manny will never forget the fact that Billingsley didn't protect him in game 2 with you guys. It's never gunna be fully healed. Gunna flare up like any infection that is not fully destroyed.

Lol. Sounds like your talking about Jose Lima with that "flare up" talk.
If you recall, Kuroda reminded Victorino in game 3 what the Japanese think of Hawaii.
Guess who's starting opening day in SD. I got my ticket. Peavy v Kuroda.

As for game 2 and the piece on the mound.... http://deadspin.com/182933/brett-mye...fe-in-the-face

Ain't talking about any rivalry with the Phils. We had things go wrong in that series that were gunna go wrong against anybody we played. Our rightfielder choked offensively in the series(if ya remember, he helped us beat them 4 in a row in August.) Billygirl choked as badly as anyone has ever choked in an NLCS. His control was so far gone that he couldn't control the ball well enough to throw inside (after they threw at Manny.) Manny didn't like it, and there is always gunna be bad blood between him and Billygirl(only thing that would ever change that is Billygirl being the winning pitcher in a World Series game...highly doubtful.) Of course, Broxton did his mandatory choking in the series as well. Rafael fkd his neck up on Sunday, or Monday. Things went the Phils way. After almost 30 years, some trash is bound to roll in. Dodgers are (for sure) Jekyll n' Hyde. Cubs got The Jekyll n' Phils got Mr. Hyde. I mean, look at the difference between Billygirl's start against the Cubs, and his 2 starts against the Phils. Somebody needs to work very hard on that boy's insides. I think it's (by far) easier to change Ethier's choking in that series than anything else. The other 2 guys are despicable hardcore chokers.......... Japan got paid back for what they did in Hawaii. It wasn't enough, but it was a start. If they act up again, we will turn that place into a glass plane(which they deserved in the 1st place.) ...YOU BROUGHT IT UP(PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING IT AGAIN.)
