Trip ? for the board

I know that there are a ton of people on here that watch a lot of races and understand the nuances(sp) of a race and watching it with the eye as opposed to reading the notes in drf i just watched a replay of the foy race and am i wrong in being really impressed with the "jojo" horse? it looked to me that he made a huge move going into turn 4(nascar talk) and really acclerated into some pretty fast fractions. Was he also wide thru the turn? Like i said i dont know much about racing but it just looked to me like he made an explosive move or am i just wrong?

I like to see a horse passing horses

especially when I got him bet

can't remember how far back he was at the qtr pole and then the 1/8th pole but no one else was moving

It was a combination of a horse who is a natural closer in a race that had fallen apart a bit due to the fractions early on. Beethoven actually came from farther back (10th) to close to 3rd. But jo jo made a very nice move at a time when horses were tireing.

He made a nice move but Quality Road ran the better race IMO, and this is from someone who bet TGJJ and hated QR.
