Feds to Yield Marijuana Jurisdition to States

Obama moving in the right direction on this one. Now make it legal and tax it. Stop sending people to jail for smokin' weed.

between the taxes you could collect, and the law enforcement/prison savings-think of the dent in the deficit they could make by legalizing it.

Should of happened a long time ago. The A-hole Mormons must be calling emergency meetings to determine how they can now get this stopped.

totally agree. Too bad politcians can't see the light on this issue or aren't brave enough to support such a proposition.

They think the body is a temple. They couldn't be thrilled with allowing sick people to put weed smoke in their body. The Mormons don't have much to do with a lot of stuff they are involved with getting rid of. I'm looking forward to the Dodgers 1st season without the a-hole more mon. Maybe everything hit 10 ft. to the right of our 2nd baseman will no longer be an automatic opportunity for the center fielder to make a play.

Amen , about time , now if Arnie would legalize it here and tax it maybe our state could get out of the shi tter.

Some would say gambling is something that has no benefits to society. Why are those all legal, and pot isn't? It's hypocrisy. I don't believe in outlawing these things. In a free society, adults need to be given the responsibility to moderate their actions. I don't believe in laws that treat adults like children. Keeping this illegal(for adults) is treating adults like children.

i don't smoke marijuana, and wouldn't if they did legalize it-i just don't think it's any worse than having alcohol.
