She's just won her maiden at Tampa Downs, so undefeated ain't much in this case, but anyone else find her intriguing?

I do although the field looks pretty deep and I'd have preferred to have seen a published work in February. She looked like a lawn mower over the Tampa sod back on Jan 6. Didn't beat much from the looks of things since, but she did win at first asking. Upside is there. She's a 1/2 to G1 winner Adieu.

Hope I can get to the Turfy in time to replenish the acct., as I only have 21 in there I think. Wanted to play a late 4 for .50 using a handful of horses in here that look like they can win it and a $1 using my top 2. A nice race for sure. I'm eager to see how Clemente's horse does and to see how K Mac's horse might take to a firm turf. Could go 4-5 deep and still not catch the winner. GL!

I don't know why they'd debut her at Tampa if she was worth a damn.

I agree, which is why Im overlooking Mott's charge in here as well. Another horse that I am going to include on just one ticket is #5 Harmonious Union. Would like to see this one close into faster fractions on the weeds. At that price, I'll give it a shot. (If I get there to add money to the acct before the 6th. Im not driving today so we're not exactly going at the speed I would like ..should make it tho)

Definites for $1

6,7,8
6
1,12
6,9,12

7
6
12
3,6,11

$21 total

Hopeful, as I think it stands a nice chance of making some money.

.50 (EDIT:: It's in)

5,6,7,8,10
6
1,4,5,7,9
4,6,12

Gl to all that decide to play!

She did close effectively into a paceless race (:50) in her debut, and she should get a sharper pace to run at today. Plus, I actually kind of like Trujillo on the turf. I think she might be worth an include on some tickets, but the McPeek looks like the one to beat to me.

I like Harmonious Union too at a big price, though it looks like a two-horse race (Clement/McPeek) on paper. McPeek was talkin' that trash in the DRF.

I know it's a tough post at a mile, but I think Bluegrass Princess deserves a big look.

The 11 was a scratch in the 6th.

Gate Dancer 02-25-2009 03:24 PM

I will be including #7 Seminole Lass on all my exotic tickets. I like how she started 2009 with a nice closing win at $50,000 and came out of the same race as #4 Striking Dancer (Caressing at CD), if 'Dancer' doesn't fire, the 'Lass' may be good enough to win here. Her number she ran 1st off the bench is better than any she ran last year and should move ahead in her 2nd start. No real problems with Direct Line, just don't think she is fast enough.
