Now and Forever / Waccamaw

GP R1 2/18/09

9 furlongs dirt
Waccamaw had everything her way (the inside post speed rail trip) , while Now and Forever had outside post 9 (caught 5wide turn1, hustled up to turn 2 4wide)

Now and Forever showed some toughness against the bias- finishing gamely and beating Waccamaw for place.
Only thing lacking was a really fast time. They came home in a less than stellar 13.88.

she's back Saturday ,3rd race, at Tampa.
Jeremy Rose is in to ride in the TBDerby, so Motion runs her here, gets Rose back on from her first race. 2-1 ML FAV :wf:wf
She should break maiden here, you would think Rose puts her into a long drive and she out-works the rest...
