Most of the additional taxes resulted from unreported income from the use of a car service provided him by a close friend and business associate, Leo Hindery Jr. The unreported income for that service totaled more than $250,000 over three years.

83K a year? Stimulating the economy. Can't he carpool with Teddy Kennedy? Not a swimmer I suppose.

nice to see the democrats doing their part to help with the deficit, by having each of their nominees fess up and pay their back taxes. i'm sure its only another series of innocent mistakes, and that he is very sorry.

Worse.

He got a whole bunch of money from Health Care industry officials.
And guess what job he is going to take on?

Bush hired incompetent friends.
Obama, with some of these recent disclosures,
is hiring competent cheaters.

This really sucks.
Is there anyone in Washington that actually
is trying to serve instead of self-serving.
Public service...
I am starting to go very cynical again.

And Daschle goes away.
Very good news.

I am glad someone on the board
brought this travesty to light and
the mistake was corrected.

Where are the other people that voted
for Obama... why are they not speaking out
about the how bad these appointments were?
