Tonight has been reserved to treat my horsin Jones and enjoy a few Rolling Rocks in cool comfort. My capping has been limited lately, so I am hoping for a fresh look at this game pro. Beat 200 balls last night in prep for a big $$$ game Sunday, pretty happy with the last 50 balls.............now how do I remember what the hell works? (wrote notes on my glove.......I am certifiable...............)

GPK 08-04-2006 06:38 PM

drink a Rolling Rock or 10 for me T.

About Sat., you have been there, done that hundreds of times....find your target and swing like you know how to. It's really that simple...and you know it. Don't make the game more complicated than it is.

Excellent point Kev. I am guilty of over-thinking everthing--horses included, hah! Good interview with Curtis Strange a few minutes ago.........stop being swing concious and start playing the shots, hell your swing isn't perfect at 51. Well I'm 57 now, so that certainly applies to me. Thanks for the reinforcement, how are you getting along?

Late double tonight. In the 9th i'm using the 4 and 5.Very liyyle speed in the race,if the 7 was 1/2 the horse he was last year i woud've used him.The 4 and 5 should be laying close.in the 10th i'm singling the 6.Last race was taken off the turf and his other 2 races at Mountaineer were in allowance where he was outclassed. The bet 4,5/6 and in the 9th a $1 triple 4,5/4,5/all.Just got done talking to pgardn whose at Retama park this evening.Good luck.

Nicely done... good to see that you are doing well! I happen to have a few $$ on the race and liked Jeffery's Cat in that last race, too. Wish I would have gone with your DD... next time.

Fair racing starts at Bay Meadows on Wednesday, needless to say, I'll be there. I'll let you know if I like anyone...

Merman made me see the light in the 9th, I laid out of the 10th but he hit the late double. What a funky track configuration. That track is all turn for the sprints. My first effort at the Mountain was rewarded with a little help from a friend.
