Seriously I was just kidding, I didn't actually expect IEAH and Godolphin to each have half the Derby field. They're almost heading in that direction. It's not like they're geniuses though. I'd have gone for Patena if I were them too. Everyone talked about his 2nd place finish more than Friesan Fire's win it seemed like.

i heard you talking about a big purchase of a 3 yo before you went to commercial yesterday...i guess the right stable, but the wrong horse( was thinking pamplemousse or flat out).
anyway, waited til you came back on to find out who, and then into the hotel. just got back from LA a few minutes ago.

anyway, it seems silly season has begun, with those with money chasing those with hot horses.
