Anyone have any info on the new show coming to Animal Planet called Jockey? Very vague on commercials just show a quick clip of a horse race up close.

Nice, now does anyone have an opinion on it? Do you think it will be good for horse racing. What kind of effect do you think it will have.

Also Mike Smith is dating Chantel and He and Gryder dont like each other?

I'll give it a chance. Might be the first time I actually watched something on Animal Planet.

Nice in a 5 second promo they manage to catch a horse breaking down/falling..

we'll watch, we love shows like this..... should run until "Deadliest Catch" comes back.:D

we watched the show they did called "The Little Zoo" about the zoo in Mobile, Al, surviving the hurricanes. it was very well done.

Jesus. I put on Animal Planet a while ago just to see if there was a promo.

There are a few threads for this show and i could have sworn in one someone (you?) said that there are three different breakdowns in the commercial.

Now i know, I know... it's part of the game, it happens, sure they should tell it like it really is BUT three in one commercial?

It was well done, great music (Kanye!) BUT God... I think the commercial is horrifying and it's a shame because I think people will be very turned off by it and viewers who might have given it a chance (now) wont.

Reminder - 9PM tonight is the first episode.

I saw a couple three minute previews On Demand and it looked like a trainwreck. I could swear they were mixing in action scenes from the movie Seabiscuit into the racing parts.

They also had a kind of a Talamo vs. Gryder deal where they edited out Trevor's calls and had someone else call the race only talking about Talamo, Gryder and their horses. Awful.

I am sure there will be some interesting parts, but I told my wife to pass on recording it. She said she will watch it after seeing the heartwrenching :rolleyes: exchange between Chantal and Mike.

This would be much more compelling viewing if they had P Val instead of the B list guys

I think there's a celeb rehab show that we may see him on.

They can't tie him down long enough

I can see it now...the stars of the reality show go on to star in The Wizard of Oz on Broadway as the Lollipop Guild.

And really, some of these jockeys should move on to bigger and better things. Please. For the love of God.

I really don't give a rats ass about the relationship of Mike and Chantal,which they will probably focus on a lot.And I think sex with Kayla Stra would be better than winning.

So, being that Oak Tree is apparently the biggest meet of the year, am I to assume if they do NY next year, the inner will be bigger than Saratoga?
