Barns quarantined at the Fairgrounds
 

Stewart and Howard's barns are quarantined at the Fairgrounds for a filly testing positive for equine herpes. Well they share a barn so it really is only one barn.

Sure hope everything works out okay. This is just another step in the learning process for us "first time" owners. I find it interesting that you can ship direct to Delta Downs. I don't understand.:confused:

Don't forget what equine influenza did to Australian racing last year. Contagious stuff can be a nightmare. Right now we have Quarter Horses in KY on one farm positive for contagious equine metritis.
