Churchill today

In a nutshell the first 4 races offer soem unplayable and unbettable fields.

race 5- #2 Southern Flu's beyer numbers give her a huge edge on the field and will make her a huge fave. Not so on the sheets. On the real numbers both the 7 and the 8 are competitive. Try using them on top in exactas. exacta play would be 7,8/2,7,8 then press 7,8/2

race 6- awful race, el passo
race 7- #5 Island Warrior had a worse trip than the Titanic in his debut on derby day. You name it, it happened to him. His number lays over the field. Only #3 Count Em the dale romans firster who is working well looks playable among the others.
Race 8- Two scratches have left us with a small 5 horse field. We hate the favorite #1 Purim. In watching his last race our notes were that he sat a perefect trip behind some real average horses. No thanks.
Like #2 Free Thinking who has improved leaps and bounds since being switched to danner's barn two back. Also like #7 Rush bay who is making his third start in the form cycle after showing new speed last time out in winning a tough allowance race on Derby day. Loves this course and won a stakes race on it last year, while losing by a nose in another one.
race 9-#7 Joint Effort looks like a monster filly off that incredible dead rail win last time which produced a monster fig. Only #2 ready To Please has any hope if Joint bounces, which is the only way she can lose.
race 10- LITF looks tough but we will also use #6 Pro Prado off his last race where he ran a dead game race on the lead with some trouble. His game is best off the pace and a return o that tactic today after a speed sharpening prep may getthe job done if a duel goes on up front.
race 11- #4 Atticus kristy is in the best form and deserves the most money. But we will also save with #'s 1,3 and 7.

The pik-4 play is:
2,7
2,7(press the 7)
5,6(press the 5)
1,3,4,7(press the 4)

Here is my play, I decided to throw one together

R8
1 Purim, 2 Free Thinking and 7 Rush Bay
(I am not sold on Senor Swinger like some. Bad couple of races on the West Coast, just don't sense it but will be a piece of the exacta maybe)

R9
1 Coronado's Vision, 2 Ready To Please and 7 Joint Effort
(Coronado's Vision did not take to the Oaklawn surface, so I am banking on this horse to win at decent odds)

R10
5 Lost in the Fog
(I am banking that the second time out after the BC Sprint is the one. Nice steady works as well)

R11
1 Western Kind, 4 Atticus Kristy
(Atticus Kristy, with a switch to R Albarado, looks like money in the bank on paper to me)

$18 for each $1

Race 8
Purim & Rush Bay
(Purim is sitting on a big one)

Race 9
Ready to Please, Humorous Gal, Victorina & Joint Effort
(most wide open race of the ticket)

Race 10
Yes Yes Yes & LITF
(LITF will run Kelly's Landing into submission, hopefully YYY can stalk, pounce and make the ticket)

Race 11
Atticus Kristy & Justice for Auston
(Both currently in great form)

$32 ticket

GL
Bigs

Props on the pick 4. Hope it's long odds for you in the last leg.

Where was that pick 6?

THE WIZARD doesn't give out his pick 6's (an extra winning ticket or 2 can knock it down significantly), although todays could net me as little as $120. Not exactly difficult if the 4 wins the last race.

Wiz..

Well done.. Congrats..! Got to LOVE the 'all' button and it's a great move in that sequence where it was likely to be chalky in at least 2 of the three legs.

Thanks. Got a little lucky with the 2 at Churchill. My Belmont pick in the ninth made my day though. $29 winner. Don't get too many of them.
