Dee Tee Acquires 5 New Horses

Dee Tee Stables is pleased to announce that two private transactions conducted in the past week have resulted in the acquisition of a 2 year old Point Given gelding, 2 Smarty Jones yearling colts, 1 Northern Afleet yearling filly and 1 Hook and Ladder (NY) weanling filly. As a result, we are thrilled to introduce Dee Tee Partnerships #04 (the 2yo & 3 yearlings) and #5 (NY bred weanling).

DEE TEE #04: Quartet Deal Doubles Stable!

Dee Tee #04 comes as a result of a deal with Three Chimneys Farm that provides us with 75% ownership each of a Point Given 2 year old gelding and Northern Afleet yearling filly, and 66% ownership of two Smarty Jones' yearling colts. The Point Given gelding will be owned in partnership with Three Chimneys. He is out of a Group III winning Rahy mare, looks to be a nice prospect for turf, and will be trained to debut in the early spring.

The 33% partner with us on the 2 Smarty Jones colts is the Chapman Family, who of course campaigned Smarty himself. One of the Smarty Jones yearlings is out of producing mare I Aim High, making him a half brother of 2002 Derby Trial (Gr. III) winner Sky Terrace. The 25% partner on the Northern Afleet filly are clients of Three Chimneys. Obviously, being tied in with the Chapmans and Three Chimneys add to the excitement of the opportunity. The quartet arrived at Bluegrass Equine Center in the past week and will engage in various training regimens shortly.

The one time buy-in to the 4 horse Dee Tee #04 Partnership will be just $1,500/share with an estimated 65 shares to be sold.

DEE TEE 05: The long-awaited New York bred!

Dee Tee #05 is a New York bred Hook and Ladder weanling filly that is currently turned out at Kenny Lejeune's Ocala farm. She is a lovely filly who has a sibling that sold for $100,000. She would race as a 2yo in 2010 and will be trained by Gary Sciacca.

The one time buy-in to Dee Tee #05, the highly-anticipated NY bred partnership, will be just $500 with an estimated 40 shares to be sold.
