just seems a strange thing to finally get him suspended, an off the ice deal. he's retarded, but everyone knows who he is.

I wish he was still on the Rangers. He plays hard and does the little things that no one else does. Not to mention he has decent hands to put the puck in the net. He's a sparkplug that plays with fire, exactly what the Rangers need because most of the time they play like zombies out there.

Dallas had to know what they were getting when they shelled out all that cash for this guy. He's a good sparkplug, but at what expense? He's a cancer in the locker room and hearts the media attention. I bet ol Gary boy will give him a nice 5 day vacation so he can work on his clothing line

The Rangers are a very undersized team. You need guys to be physical and they don't have very much of that. As far as the euros go, I believe that they actually have less this year than they have had in the past.

As far as Avery goes, I believe that Brett Hull (I think he's the asst GM) made the push for them to sign him. Like I said, I would take Avery back in a second. The suspension is ridiculous. Think about some of the things that happen on the ice in the NHL and this guy gets suspended because of a lewd comment he made about guys dating his ex's. I guess Gary Bettman has been reading the How to be more like Roger Godell manuel.
