1. Guillotine - Williams/Hayes should be primed for a good effort, with a little luck...should be right there.

2. Littorio - Safe pick, should be one of the favorite choices.

3. Master O' Reilly - may be peaking at the right time.

cant believe he was good enough to win it. some very good melbourne cup preps in there, the key will be trying to find the right one.

A very confusing result for me, great prices and none of the more popular Melbourne contenders seemed to run their races. I think this was Godolphin's first major success in Australia and without Frankie, though Kerrin rode 2nd call for them in Europe.:zz:
