Breeders Cup Snake Oil
 

I received my first snake oil mailing for picks on the Breeders Cup. To quote, "just $60, less than $5 per race (and that includes the top pick, plus horses to play in exactas, pick-3, pick-4, pick-6, and trifectas), gets you on the winners list for the Breeders Cup, all 14 races selections. The mailing is from Kelso Sturgeon, and lists the 7 winners he picked in the 11 races last year. Also included is propaganda on his TCN (Today's Correct Number) system for $27.95. John Piesen's mailing can be far away.

These things make me sick to my stomach as i not only was dumb enough to do it once but twice what a moron. both times same thing they pick like 4 horses in each race and when i asked the guy how am i suppose to bet this? he said hey its the BC get your money out and box them all in ex, tris, supers i was like my goodness i'll be betting like a 1,000 bucks and i just can't do that money wise. and by the way neither of the two were with a damn picking winners.
