Mortimer - Good for Nerdy Trail

This is a thread to convince all the non believers- so let's hear all the good that Morte' will do

Oh.... and bashing Hussy or Coach Pants will be not considered as evidence of good.

There are a few floating around on the laptop at home:tro:

But enough about me...this thread is about you. We don't talk about you enough around here.

Mortimer 10-14-2008 11:14 AM

I'm leaving.

Mortimer is the most unique persona the internet has ever seen. Derby trail should be proud that he calls this place home.

Mortimer is the great equalizer. He delivers justice with impunity to friend and foe alike.

Only those too dull to understand his brilliance would dare to question his worthiness as board overlord.

Some question his lack of experience though. Does he really posses the people skills vital in reaching out to other Nerdy Trail citizens....and citizens of other horsey related boards worldwide?

I just dont think he has been given the chance. I think we can all watch his delivery and realize that there is a native intelligence that far exceeds that of any member on any board. Beyond that there are natural leadership qualities that just ooze out of each typed character.

Does he have the experience? Did Steve Byk have the experience? No previous experiences could prepare mort for the task at hand. You either got it or ya dont. Mort has IT...that intangible IT possessed only by the greats.

Coach Pants 10-14-2008 11:28 AM

It was ridiculous.

And packed.

And a ton of fun.

Yes, back to Mortimer. Just close your eyes and imagine this place WITHOUT mortimer?

Are you frightened yet? I am.

I personally think morty has more "IT" than anyone. he is absolutely full of "IT".whenever he speaks, i say to myself, "that morty sure is a master of slinging "IT". if this were a classroom he would 100% be the "IT"-head of it. all hail morty, he is king of "IT" for brains!

yes, another believer. This is grassroots i know but its people like notype59 and the passion that he brings for Mortimer that will lead us to where we want to be.

One correction though notype59. Mortimer cant "sling" IT. IT is inherent. As generious as he is, he would pass IT off if he could but he can't. Sorry.

Ok Mark....a discenting voice has now been heard.

Anyhoo....I will be near your neck of the woods all day tomorrow:tro:

I actually like Morty, he keeps me busy at work trying to decipher his lingo. I will admit that I am afraid to ask what the hell is talking about half the time and who is who in regards to his nicknames.
