Laragh

Wow, she just toyed with the Jessamine Stakes field at Keeneland - absolutely dominated them. She's a big, gray, beautiful daughter of Tapit (yay!!!)...fav, if she goes, for the Juv Fillies Turf?

Tapit is doing so well - I wish Rainbow View were not going in the Juv Fillies. I love SB, and she's very good, but RV scares me.......

In hindsight, it was the perfect horse to key in ex/tri's. Instead, I went with Complicity. Laragh backed up quite badly in her previous race, and thought for sure she didnt want this distance. Couldnt have been more wrong on that one. Nice ride by Prado.

I think she really hated the soft turf that day - according to her new trainer, John Terranova, the course at Woodbine was really a bog and it was impossible for horses on the lead to win that day.

How is that pronounced? Does it sound the same as "Laura"?

There was a single race on the turf that day and those with the pace (other than Larangh) ran very well. So much for that theory.

OK, fine - then she didn't handle the soft turf. Happy? By the way, if you want to get snarky with me, do it via PM. It's not necessary to be so condescending - or maybe you think it is. Whatever.

Try showing up BEFORE the race rather than AFTER when some horse happens to trounce a field. Additionally, trying getting your facts straight. Clearly, you don't bet; this is just FUN for you.

I'll pass in the PM offer.

The Woodbine turf course is really 2 turf courses blended into 1, the old part which doesn't drain as well is part of the back stretch run, the new part which drains better is part of the turn and stretch. Really when the turf is listed as soft/good/firm, one has to wonder which part of the course is being measured. I always thought given that the drainage is not consistent for the entire turf course, information is quite misleading.

Thanks, CSC!
