meadowlands?

did the stock market and meadowlands both crash today or is this normal? just happened to notice todays attendance 1853, and handle $110,000, some high school badminton games get a larger crowd and more betting than that?

I would think that they would be better off served running every card under the lights.

Total handle was $1,110,934 today.

Taking races off the turf and reducing them to 3 horse fields is really not the way to go. Saving the turf for winter racing are we?
Combine that with the BUSH quality of the track, their insistence (at least in the past) of not showing FULL headon replays, and why the **** would anyone play there?

**** 'em.

The races being off the turf today defied belief.

The swamp always looks better at night!

Even when the standards are back - I like to just watch folks like Manzi, Campbell and Sears under the lights.

The day time racing there just feels funny.
