FALLON SET FOR AMERICA :cool:

Six-time champion jockey Kieren Fallon is set for a stint in California ahead of his return next year.

The 43-year-old was banned from race riding for 18 months in January for testing positive for a banned substance when riding at Deauville.

He has been riding work for Sir Michael Stoute in Newmarket but is now intending on working in the United States during the winter.

He told attheraces: "I'm going to America for a while to sharpen up. Your work's like a race over there.

"I'll go to California, maybe before Christmas. You can work 10 or 15 in the mornings and it's a beautiful place."
