Art Official Back on Saturday

9-days after his disappointing 3rd place finish in the Little Brown Jug, Art Official will be back in action at The Red Mile in Lexington in the Bluegrass Stakes.

Quote:

“It’s unbelievable, actually, how fresh he is,” trainer Joe Seekman said about Art Official, who saw a six-race win streak ended in the Jug final and finished worse than second for only the second time in 14 starts since the Berry’s Creek in May. “I don’t know what horse would have won with those two trips. But he seems super.”
Great to see him back, and good luck to the connections.

Also in action on Friday will be Good New Lady, the amazing filly who won the Jugette last week at the Delaware County Fair in Ohio. Greg Grismore will be back aboard GNL, who hopes to push above the $500,000 mark for lifetime earnings.

These and many other great races are all leading up to the $700,000 Kentucky Futurity on October 4 at the Red Mile...

red mile

will be even a greater card next saturday, but super racing everywhere today. Somebeach trained at Lexington the other day, he was timed in a spectacular 151, the ridiculous part is he went to the half in 59.4!!!!! Myron Bell timed the mile, and very few people if any have timed more horses then Myron. Regardless of time they said he was a blur down the lane.

Glad to hear that Good News Lady won again. Good news for Grismore, one of my favorite drivers. I actually talked to him on the phone yesterday, and he is a really cool guy.

Nice filly the connections have...
