If it came down to it, who would you pull for?

Yes...I am happy but we HAVE to win our division.

Just curious where the sentiment will be....

I would like to see the Cubs beat everyone with exception to the Rays. The Rays have been such a great story all season, and I would like to see them win it all.

This year has somewhat been a dream come true. Being part owner of a horse and being part of a play off team.
Someone asked if the grounds crew was going to get a bonus for getting to the play offs. That would be nice but I those who know me, know I'd rather have something else. Yes I'm a " bit" superstitious and don't even want to say it.

With all due respect, we'll see how you guys handle the playoffs. As a Sox fan, my biggest fear is your speed. We face great pitching 24/7 and your bats are good, but if you can run wild, Rays win the series. If not, Sox in 4

Probably the Rays, just out of fear that nice Cubs fans would suddenly become giant pricks like all the Red Sox fans did when they finally won after we all pulled for them.

Also, there aren't any Rays fans so the giant prick factor will be non existant.

I don't think you have to fear their speed. Fear the pinball machine that the Rays play in. Best home field record in baseball. MLB players hate playing there and the Sox will have to put that out of their mind and just play baseball. A couple balls rattling about the rafters that go against the Sox may cause that hot head manager to snap and that probably won't be a good thing.

Oh yeah, I forgot, Carl Crawford is back. On second thougth, maybe you should fear their speed. :D

I do know this, I will be rooting for with winner of this series vs. the winner of the other series.

To add credence to the Sox should fear the dome theory, I just read in the St. Pete Times that the Sox have the worst record in baseball on artificial turf.

I went over to the dome today to get my post season credentials and the field looks great.
The Rays were taking B.P. and looked loose. The Sox hadn't arrived yet but they are THE loosest team I've ever been around. Should be fun (except I have to be there at 7 am tomorrow.....I don't even have to be at the PD that early.)

I do fear the W.Sox at this time. They are riding the momentum....the Rays stumbled the past 10 games. Ozzie is THE most fun person to be around in baseball so I know they are loose. They are experienced....we obviously are not.
I fear Kazmir choking under pressure. The dome IS powerful. 20-2 when 30K or more show up. Lost the opening game and the last reg season game. Won the 20 between them. There have been quite a few changes to the building and atmosphere (including taking away our (grounds crew) club house for media use). In other words....the post/pre game interviews take place right in front of my locker. Anyway...it SHOULD be a fun series. Can't wait to get underway.
