argument..poly and breeding

i contend that the poly has helped the industry in that turf sires are now more than just a grass horse..where as before it was one trick breeding.and everyone wants to win on the dirt.turf sires and the ability on the synth suraces have boosted the value of some turf stallions..thoughts..listen i know i know poly is new and not the favorite of many but its here to stay for a while

All I know is that I could be the sire for one of Catalano's horses on the polytrack, and the thing would still run out of his freakin' mind.

Well congratulations, you've just sent another thread off the tracks with a load of condansending rhetoric. Really it was a good question that an answer would be of interest to many.:zz:

Poly-Cushion-Tapeta

All simular but not exactly the same. The stats would be askewed if you ask me. I think Keeneland is the most that runs closely to turf and Hollywood to dirt, though maybe every track is unique in it's own way.

NA tracks Poly
Arlington Park (USA)
Del Mar Racetrack (USA)
Keeneland Race Course (USA)
Turfway Park (USA)
Woodbine Racetrack (Canada)

Cushion Track
Hollywood Park Racetrack (USA)
Santa Anita Park (USA)

Tapeta
Golden Gate Fields (USA)
Presque Isle Downs (USA)

ummm, I think I was trying to say that those are sires of horses that run for the purse structure at Turfway and horses that are sired by the ones I listed have done well on the turfway poly.. they may not do well on the other fake stuff.

TP's poly will play differently from Kee's because TP's blend is engineered to deal with freezing temps they encounter during the long winter meet (NOV.-APR.)

Unusual Heats are a gold mine for whoever has those horses in Southern California.
