ROCKER'S left turn

Would've been nice if the stewards at least took a look as they entered the stretch and Rocker, green as ever and staggering like a drunk, took a left turn and wiped out 3 or 4 horses to his inside.

Not enough contact? Does he need to wipe out the entire field?

It was colonel john that did that

It looked to me (granted I was focusing on him) that Cool Coal Man was squeezed on both sides - I think one of the horses was Macho Again? Anyone know for sure?

Either way, that was it for him. I hope CCM goes on to be a useful horse next year - I can't fault him for his effort today. What a race.

MA staggered badly and was pulled back.

No question, Rocker should have been placed behind Cool Coal Man, whom he knocked off stride badly.

Also, watch that bum Salute the Sarge hammer Lantana Mob in the King's Bishop, or LM might have been best.

The stewards have been inconsistent for sure, which makes a horseplayer scratch their heads. But I didn't understand the DQ of the Contessa horse from 2nd on Fri with Morales riding considering what we have seen this meet thus far. Earlier in the day they let Oldham stay up, the only difference I can distinguish is if a rider overeacts as CV did you may sway a call your way.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who saw that CCM was slammed and Tom Durkin didn't mention that at all. He ended up finishing next to last, but he really ran a very good race up until that point. I just hope CCM is okay....Actually, what I don't understand is the chart. It says that CCM stalked 4 wide, then gave way, as if the colt didn't get sandwiched and bumped around in the stretch. I must have been watching a different race.
