On this mornings show Dick Powell released his selections for today's card.in the fifth race he selected #7 Take the Points for a $50 win wager and he continued to elaborate on his thought process while Rick Lang listened and agreed. There's one problem! Take the Points ran second yesterday @ 7/5 in the Ninth Race. Nice Homework by Dick and the Graphics Crew.

Take the Points was also in today on the entries and equibase form. Guess they did'nt check scratches and did'nt notice the horse ran yesterday. Must have just pick -up form before show and ran thru it quickly, not like Dick Powell he's usually on top of it.

What a dick move.

it happens with 2-3 day advanced entries and forms , and horse enter in 2 races that he meets conditions, trainers will do this to try and beat the weather forecast.

It can't happen when your on live TV. It's called being "unprepared"

I am aware that Mr. Powell cleared that up on the next days program.
I know he uses Bris PPs which do not indicate a horse being cross entered.
Mr. Powell felt very badly about this and will work to avoid in the future.
The upside is no one lost money.
