Best performance by a non-winner...

.... this past weekend.

I thought Stallingrad ran a real nice race in the Fourstardave and wish he had won. Thought for sure he was a winner at the top of the stretch and so too did Tom Durkin. That was a big step up for him and I thought he was really good.

The awesome and lovely I Can See, who absolutely flew home in the John C. Mabee. :)

I really thought Model ran really nice. Very Consistent filly who always runs in the money. Took a big jump in class and ran her best race yet. Made that monster move and kept running well but Zenyatta had giant leaps to cruise on by.

The Empire Maker-Flute firster at Delmar? Great breeding, bad stats for a 1st timer...ran a good race for a horse that will need more ground.

Maybe this one is too obvious but Coal Play ran huge but he did get run down by that POS horse, I forget his name.

I saw that too. To be honest I was disapointed with her run yesterday. I know breeding says long and it was FTS but kinda ran tired for third.

for me, it had to be Model finishing so well behind Zenyatta, what a great performance

Solo Piano is the filly we are talking about...I completely hear where you are coming from, I just thought considering the sire was just 3% 1st time starters and you just have to think Frankel wasn't saying let's tighten the screws so we can win a 6 1/2 f Mdn Sp Wt on a Monday card, she showed more speed than I would have thought, plus she was abit wide and Bejarano may have moved early. It was a good effort, she should improve 2nd time out.
