didn't feel even that big at my work in woodland hills.

doesn't look like much happened but considering the amount of coverage a rainstorm gets on local news, i guess we're in for 24 hour "quakewatch" for this non-event.

LOL...That was a funny one. You just read what one resident wrote. He is further away (by about 30 miles) than me. To me, it was fairly strong. We were rolling pretty good. I'M ON A GRANITE(so they say) hill a couple blocks north of the Inglewood city line. It was moving here almost as much as the Northridge quake. This is weird stuff(how the force is released .) As far as damage, though, Not much. Wood frame houses do well in quakes. Brick isn't good in it. That's the 1st thing to check(chimneys etc.)

I work in Carona and we were about 3 miles from the quakes center. The quake felt like the ground just dropped about 2 inches with aloud boom, followed with some small rolling waves. It was over pretty quick, but that's the first time the ground dropped and I go back to the Sylmar quake. Pretty strange that when I got home (24 miles away) the cupboard doors were open and afew things fell. You got to love California, Shake , Rattle and Roll and back to work one minute later like it never happened.
