Falmouth Stakes

good luck to Seachange tomorrow, a cracking little race and a great advert to keep older fillies in training..

I thought she might get loose on a soft lead and wind them up in her own time, but Cheveley Park have a pacemaker in so that could mess that plan up a little..

A really good field, should be a great race.

The pacemaker could cause some problems for Seachange, although she's won three Group 1s at the distance here in NZ and actually didn't lead in any of them. So I don't think it will matter too much if she has to surrender the lead.

The main problem for her would be if there's much rain. The forecast sounds a little bit dodgy, hope the rain misses Newmarket.

Looks like a pretty unpleasant day, but the track still seems to be racing like a genuine good track. So hopefully no excuses today for Seachange.

Edit: DARJINA'S OUT!

Nahoodh, Seachange and Heaven in one order or another. :D

Come home safe, girls.

Congrats Nahoodh. :)

I'm proud of Seachange. The Northern Hemisphere never saw her at her best, but she was brave today.

Cheers to Ms. Seachange, diva and champion.

Rained all day here, and I'm only a stones throw from the track. Was completely against Seachange.

Raining now still and forecast all night and most of tomorrow. Look for soft ground horses in the July Cup.

its funny, all the "experts" seemed to say when Seachange raced in Dubai that she would need soft ground to be at her best, but it defo seemed to hinder her. She raced so well and looked to be going best of all 2f out. she just couldnt find much off the bridle..

i have to say that Anna Pavlova who is running tomorrow is fast becoming one of my fav horses in training...hope she runs her heart out tomorrow
