best value selections
 
im looking for some imfo on steves best value picks
im in the house for the next 3 months with double knee replacment
before i went in
i put 5,000 in my phone a bet
my plan was to wait for saratoga to start and bet 20 to win and 40 to place on steves best value pick in each race
does anyone have any thoughts on this/and please
be ral with your comments

Good luck with the rehab, its going to be tough.

Steve is one of the best handicappers around and his selections always deserve a second look. However, it is a bad idea to blindly bet anyone's selections. You should always do your own handicapping. Once that is done, compare with Steve's selections to see where you agree. As you now will have lots of time, this is a great opportunity to improve your own handicapping. The excitement and satisfatction are much greater when it is a result of your hard work.

Great advice Paul. I do that with my handicapping. I make my selections then compare them to how Steve and the others rate them. It may cost me a few more $$ in betting if they have one that they really like that I will throw in, but so far most of the time it's paid off for me. We all look at different angles when handicapping and to me thats the enjoyable part. Well, next to winning of course:)
