On advice of counsel I plead the 5th, babe.

Mr. Dutrow goes to Washington.

On witness list to testify before Hous sub-committee.

Only in America. What a country.

He is probably on the phone right now trying to get the number for Sammy Sosa's lawyer!

It would be nice if Congress stopped wasting time and taxpayer money and started holding hearings that will better the people of this country and our future generations.

The House Subcommittee should hold a hearing titled "DrugS breeding breakdowns: The State of DrugS sex life and the welfare he needs to better it."

They can debate about how to best invest hundreds of millions with the ultimate goal of me fathering tens of thousands.

Maybe you should contact Iavarone, look at the deal he got for BB, and I bet you could finish a mile and a half race!

Did you ever notice the guys who constantly talk about their own sex life are the ones who never got any p***y?

otisotisotis 06-12-2008 02:42 PM

How did Randy Moss get invited to talk???
I like the guy, but c'mon, is he really qualified to talk about drug use/abuse and breeding?

I went to Bobby Rushs' web site and you can only e-mail him if you live in his district so I called his Washington office. They had me leave a voicemail for Christian Fjeld who is the lead for the Dem side in this committe. He actually called me back within 30 minutes and spoke to me for almost 30 minutes. He is a big horse race fan and very knowledgeable about the sport, which did surprise me. He reviewed all the people on the list and reviewed in detail the agenda. Some of the witnesses include Jess Jackson, Randy Moss, Richard Shapiro, Jack Van Berg, Allan Marcell, Arthur Hancock and quite a few from the vet/medical side...Alex Waldrop and Ali Concord were the only names I could get.

A big part of their focus he said was going to be on the health and well fair of low level claimers at smaller tracks, what is their care like, should they be running and what happens to them after they don't run anymore. He specifically brought up Ask The Lord as an example of a horse that will be reviewed.

He welcomes e-mails and opinions at Christian.Fjeld@mail.house.gov

Steve...I think you should try and get him on the show..well spoken, knowledgeable and not a witch hunt, at least that I could tell

Supposedly Moss' agenda is number of race tracks and does that lead to horses that shouldn't be running any more

Good thing that Dutrow and Larry Jones aren't sharing the stage together: http://cs.bloodhorse.com/blogs/tripl...rry-jones.aspx

I'm a huge fan of this game and I want races run fairly with the safety of the animals first...BUT...I just spent $95 to fill up my tank with gas, my particular industry is in a huge mess, we have young men fighting for our freedom being placed in harm's way (God bless them) around the world, and all the while Congress is worried about Roger Clemens and Eight Belles.

I may have asked him if they were going to focus on the smaller tracks than why not actually invite someone who may know what the hell is going on there instead of the people named? I may have also asked why did they seemingly only invite people who have come out in public on one side of the issue?

How many agenda's does Moss have? No whips, no drugs, no tracks, no cheap horses... Where does he glean his expertise from?

Someone more knowledgeable than me should ask him those questions then. I wanted to get contact information up in case anyone wanted to pursue this with them. I don't disagree to earlier posts that this isn't worthy of a congressional hearing, but it is happening so if someone wants to be heard, there is a way.
