After this group of witnesses get done...

racing may just be vaporized.

Check out the first group of 'witnesses'. Could they be any more biased in their selection? Everyone of those people has recently come out pubically against "drugs" yet has offered virtually no logical plan and have universally ignored the issues at hand. Everyone I suppose except Dutrow who may simply sit there and act confused a la Sammy Sosa.

Plus is there a scarier line than the one in the final paragraph which details how Whitfield will "fund" the federal regulation via use of the Interstate horseracing Act. Anybody see a representative of the customers on that panel? Too bad because as I have said for a long time the bettors are going to pay to "clean up" the game. And even though almost everybody will disagree this entire federal intervention thing will do absolutely nothing to improve the product on the track and may well make it worse. Remember where you heard it first.

The most dangerous words in the world are :
"We're from the government, and we're here to help you."

If you ever hear those words, grab your ass and your wallet and RUN AWAY.

Whitfield has taken alot of campaign money from good ol' Wayne Purcell and The Humane Society of the United States (an anti-animal ownership, AR group), and Whitfield is one of Wayne's most reliable puppets in Washington.

Whitfield is not going to help horse racing.

Be very, very afraid of Whitfield, and the animal rights bozos who are whispering in his ear, telling him how to best control (eliminate) horse racing.
