Isnt it about time ???

That we get a firm decision from SA about what they are going to do about the surface? With the BC comming, this is a huge factor for all the main track runners.

You would think so. I have a suggestion for them...bring in dirt.

four and a half months away--talk about procrastination. but then, when they first realized a problem they did.....nothing. here we are all these months later, and still nothing fixed. way to go bc committee, giving the bc to these nimrods again next year.

That is still very tough to understand. They better get their act together soon.

Well now that they don't have a triple crown winner to promote. I suggest that they call Mr. Assmussen and ask him what he would perfer.

I thought I read somewhere recently that they were staying with the traditional dirt surface....And were suing the cushion track company.

Danzig 06-08-2008 10:41 AM

they're suing alright, but as far as going back to dirt, haven't seen that. last i saw there was a suggestion to pull up the top layers, change the asphalt (and presumably pull up the drainage) and put the top back down.

If I remember correctly was It SA that had to postphone hosting the BC because of construction and improvements at the track and LS moved up a year hosting the BC?
