Kent just said that he just didn't have any horse left at the turn for home. No problems with the leg, just that the horse just didn't have it today.

MaTH716 06-07-2008 05:38 PM

I know, It didn't help but that is not why he lost. but this was the first time that encountered a little trouble. He looked very uncomfortable out of the gate.

Kent said he slipped coming out of the gate.

Danzig 06-07-2008 05:39 PM

tiggerv 06-07-2008 05:39 PM

Vet just said that he looked ok after the race. No physical problems.

pgardn 06-07-2008 05:44 PM

Coa made Brown go so wide on the backstretch.
Not that it was the excuse. He clearly knew who
he was going to push out.

Quiet Chris 06-07-2008 05:45 PM

That is the most painful loss anyone will ever suffer. Couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people.

Travis Stone 06-07-2008 05:46 PM

I'll bet the Casino Drive folks are devastated again after seeing today's race.

arulus 06-07-2008 05:46 PM

Of course, absolutely NO ONE talked about Da'Tara before the race. Wow. Even without BB, he was much above the rest - WIRING the field in the Belmont? Never saw that one coming. Even though I didn't really want BB to win the Triple Crown, this was shocking.
